The speculation making the round is that Northan Elders are calling for the international community to probe the war against Boko-haram during the tenure of former president of Nigeria Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. In their own wisdom, they alleged that the former president committed genocide in the war against Boko-Harm because they did not like the face of former president. But most people are asking about the Biafra War of 1967-1970 where millions of innocent people where killed by General Yakubu Gowon.
However, Nigerians are of the opinion that General Yakubu Gowon should be probed on how he prosecuted the Biafra war and starved millions of children to death. Furthermore, we were told that over 7 millions of innocent Biafrans were murdered in their cool blood by the Yakubu Gowon led forces. Moreover, the present president of Nigeria also committed genocide and the world turned deaf ear and remain silent on this genocide committed.
Therefore, Nigerians want the United Nation (UN) to immediately put mechanism in place to ascertain the the genocide that was committed and put on trial those behind the killing of innocent Biafrans in their own land. Nigerians want justice to be done to all those who committed the said genocide in as much as we remain one united country. God bless Nigeria!
